2022 Bond Referendum: Public Safety Projects

On Nov. 8, Henrico County voters will have an opportunity to participate in a bond referendum to approve $511.4 million for capital projects to improve schools, parks and recreation facilities, public safety facilities and drainage. No tax increase would be necessary with voters’ approval of the bond referendum.

The ballot question for public safety projects would provide $83.9 million over six years for new and renovated fire stations, a new animal shelter and a public safety training center.
