China’s Belt and Road in the U.S.

China has been working on building up relationships with leaders all around the US, and part of that is through investment deals. A Chinese think tank published a map of all 50 US states that ranked each one based on friendliness to China. Joining us in this episode is Emily de la Bruyere, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the co-author of the new monograph All Over the Map: The Chinese Communist Party’s Subnational Interests in the United States.
