China's Open Plan for World Domination

For years, China has tried to sell the world on the idea that it only has benign ambitions on the world stage. But that image of a benign superpower gets shattered when you look at the priorities and goals the Chinese Communist Party puts forward. In this episode of China Unscripted, we talk about how China says it wants to be a global hegemon, how the media got the Solomon Islands’ protests story so wrong, and why we shouldn’t underestimate China’s ambitions. Joining us in this episode is Grant Newsham, a retired U.S. Marine Colonel and research fellow at the Center for Security Policy.
