New ‘Live Loud Concerts’ Series Coming to Brown’s Island

There’s a new concert series taking place at the lovely outdoor Brown’s Island venue. It’s being called Live (rhymes with ‘give’) Loud Concerts and the series runs from April through October 2022 downtown. Tickets and info on all upcoming concerts is available at www.thebroadberry.com.

The organizers will be announcing more shows in the coming weeks, but here are the acts that have been announced so far (with videos of the headliners so you can get an idea of the diversity of acts that have been booked).

Friday, April 29: Melvin Seals and JGB with Kendall Street Company

Saturday, April 30: Lotus with Big Something

Thursday, June 2: Bright Eyes with Alex G

Friday, Oct. 21: Mt Joy

According to a press release: a “limited number of Fast Pass tickets are available for quick entry through the 7th Street Bridge. All other attendees will use the 5th street entrance. Beer and canned cocktails will be available for purchase digitally through NOBLE on the day of the show. There will be food trucks on the island. Coolers, outside food, and outside beverages will not be permitted on the island.”

The release also notes that “no chairs, tents, staking or canopies allowed. Absolutely no backpacks allowed! Ponchos and small, personal umbrellas are permitted in case of rain.”
