Looking to buy some art from highly respected local artists while supporting a good cause? Well, look no further.
You can do so on Friday, March 18 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery on Ownby Lane, while also supporting the Parent Teacher Association of William Fox Elementary School, the beloved, 110-year-old landmark of the Fan neighborhood severely damaged in a recent fire.
Great artworks have been donated by local artists such as Ed Trask, Frankie Slaughter, Courtney Sievers, Greg Holzgrefe, Diego Sanchez, Jennifer Holloway Bopst and many more. The online silent auction is available to anyone, but the live auction will be exclusive to event attendees.
This is an adults-only event and tickets are $75 per person (that includes two drink tickets, appetizers, live music, access to live auction with additional food and beverages for purchase, with a percentage of sales going to the PTA). Go here to buy event tickets or bid on silent auction items.
“We feel so blessed to have the support of local businesses like Hardywood generously donating the use of their space, and we don’t want to squander the opportunity,” says Boz Boschen, whose three kids attend Fox Elementary and whose wife Amelia is President-Elect of the PTA and leading the effort behind the annual art auction.
