China has been readying for an invasion of Taiwan, but so has Taiwan’s allies. China already has the world’s largest navy by size, and it’s working on increasing the size and capability of the rest of its forces. Is it better for Taiwan and its allies if China waits to attack, giving them more time to prepare, or will it be harder to defend Taiwan because China will also be more prepared? We discuss that and more in this episode of China Unscripted. Joining us in this episode is Lincoln Parker, the chair of Australia’s Liberal Party defence policy branch.
