Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump found himself embroiled in a fake news controversy after he asked if the 2020 election could require a do-over in the wake of revelations the DNC colluded with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Trump issued clarifications on his statements via Truth Social Monday, pointing out the fake news media was doing what it does best and lying to the American people about his statement issued Saturday, in which he asked how the “Massive Fraud” should be rectified.
“The Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution,” Trump wrote on Truth.
“This is simply more DISINFORMATION & LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES & SCAMS. What I said was that when there is ‘MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION,’ as has been irrefutably proven in the 2020 Presidential Election, steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG. Only FOOLS would disagree with that and accept STOLEN ELECTIONS. MAGA!”
“SIMPLY PUT, IF AN ELECTION IS IRREFUTABLY FRAUDULENT, IT SHOULD GO TO THE RIGHTFUL WINNER OR, AT A MINIMUM, BE REDONE. WHERE OPEN AND BLATANT FRAUD IS INVOLVED, THERE SHOULD BE NO TIME LIMIT FOR CHANGE!” he added.
“WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ‘LEGITIMATELY’ WON THE ELECTION TO LEAD OUR COUNTRY, NOT PEOPLE WHO HAD TO CHEAT IN ORDER TO WIN!!!”
The former president’s statements came in response to the Twitter Files leak on Saturday, saying the revelations of Big Tech-DNC collusion puts the 2020 election results in unprecedented, uncharted territory.
“So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?” Trump wrote. “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”
“UNPRECEDENTED FRAUD REQUIRES UNPRECEDENTED CURE!” he wrote in a follow-up Truth post.
The Biden regime and dozens of lapdog mainstream media publications, including the New York Times, CNN and others, disingenuously framed Trump’s hypothetical statements to mean he wanted to terminate the Constitution; however, despite somewhat clumsy wording it’s clear Trump was merely asking what the next step is in the event of a blatantly rigged election – a concept that was not entirely fleshed out when the Founding Fathers penned the sacred document.
