When Chinese leader Xi Jinping cautioned the US federal reserve against hiking interest rates, he wasn’t saying it out of concern for Americans. He warned that raising interests rates too much too quickly could hurt global financial stability, and developing countries would bear the brunt of it. In this episode of China Unscripted, we talk about foreign investment in China, the change in attitude from free markets to state-controlled markets and what US interest rate hikes mean to China. Joining us in this episode is Jack Posobiec, a former Naval intelligence officer who lived in China, and the host of the podcast Human Events Daily.
